GROOVE + POWER = UNITY

GROOVE:

Groove is nature's own rhythm. Groove is regarded as the highest skill for any musician, not just a repertoire of techniques. The combination of these two things will make a musician special and authentic.

An artist without a message will hardly ever groove... Feel and experience it and you will understand.

Groove is independent of musical styles. It is rather a statement of a human being, showing the strongest form of expression that is possible in art. To be honest to yourself and to other people is hard to accomplish, but it is possible...

POWER:

Power means for an artist to always give the best. The artist does not act, but rather presents her-/himself at the moment of the show. You can literally feel the energy between the performing artists and the audience. That kind of energy is without a doubt absorbed by people in the audience. Feel it to believe it...

Mainstream knows no passion.

Mainstream has no real answers,

it does not even ask questions.

Mainstream makes you feel dead

when you are actually (physically) still alive.

Artists are artists by nature.

Stars and legends are always being made.

Art provides you with greater knowledge

beyond ordinary beliefs and science.

There are times when only art will tell you

 what is right and what is wrong (for you).

True art never betrays you.

What you put into it,

will eventually come out of it.

Art is not done by cold calculation,

it happens and often in an accidental manner

- so it seems & so they say...

Life is about art.

Art is about life.

Mainstream is about none of the above...

Artists are brave and courageous.

True art knows no differences between people.

Mainstream provides you with categories

and seperates people, so it is easier to hate each other

and believe that all people are different.

True art always unites people and knows no categories.

It makes people understand on higher levels

that all men are equal.

The majority of people do not want violence.

Now,

what do the few bastards

who actually want violence, war and power

promote to you and provide you with?

Art knows no violence.

Point of view

I wish I could write something positive today,

but actually it just does not look that way.

I am used to the constant fight and struggle,

sometimes both my patience and anger will juggle.

All these negative influences try to take away my thunder,

  the waiting part is hard, do not want another blunder.

But see... this is just me, not the whole universe.

So, someplace else someone might traverse,

with high spirits and good intentions,

had just overcome also such great tensions.

UNITY

George was an older guy and his wisdom was one big reason why people loved him so much. He would never try to teach people, but rather (sometimes strongly) speak out about certain topics if people wanted him to do so. So it happens on one rainy day. This is what George had to say about the art of music and its relation to consciousness…

Have you ever wondered why people on this earth are not united and live in harmony with each other and mother earth? Strangely enough, the most important things seem to be power and wealth when in fact these things actually do not mean a f****** thing, especially when you look at where - all people - came from and how (or "if" one might think) we have developed ever since. Are we really that sophisticated? One would tend to say no. Just imagine what would happen to the so-called first world nations if suddenly there was no electricity anymore. What then? We would be faced with some serious problems I guess. Killing every culture that used to live with nature in unity seems also not to be very sophisticated. The first world population is being programmed by its media to see other (ancient) cultures as "primitive" when in fact we - ourselves - act as really primitive people from time to time. It is very sad that most of us follow the path that we are told to take. We are NOT free. At least, not so much as one might think. But do not worry, because it will not become an all-dark picture here. It is just to show - at least - one other side of the coin.

Perhaps you might ask yourself what all this has to do with music. Well, certainly and from some experience it has everything to do with music. Art and music that REALLY comes from the heart will UNITE people - no matter who they are. Politics, religion, business and controlled media (fortunately there are exceptions!) and all such things tend to do the exact opposite sometimes: they DIVIDE us or at least try it very hardly. NOTE: There ARE exceptions to this and I am speaking of the negative examples for this.

It is no coincidence, that the controlled media is full of "artists" without an important message. "Just buy my product" or "I am a f***** star, now love me" or "I am the best" are not really messages in the essence of music. Perhaps, most stuff which is presented in mainstream media does not contain ANY real message (being a celebrity is not a message). This kind of art does not stimulate your mind and prevents you from understanding that business and the struggle for (global and economic) power are nothing more than the ultimate goals for a minority that owns, controls and rules this planet. If you choose to stay passive and let others do the thinking, you are an easy controllable subject and that certainly is in the interest of the above mentioned elite who seeks ultimate control over all people. When you really think about this, you may recognise how dangerous it is to only base your beliefs on what the media tells you. Your own experiences (in ANY field you might think of) cannot be replaced by anything else. An open mind will also help you tremendously to differentiate between truth and lies in general.

Being a star or honouring someone like that is just a sign of how bad people are really messed up. The real message of an artist MUST always be more important than the artist her-/himself. In case you are wondering... these stars are not special at all. This should not be mistaken for envy, but rather explain that anybody could be a star. Being an artist is quite different though -  you do not come to a point, where you suddenly think "well, I want to be a painter/musician/etc." all of a sudden. Either it is in you or it is not. An artist wants to accomplish something bigger than him-/her.

As Bruce Lee once said "being true and honest is the hardest thing to do". Sidenote: If you study the life of Bruce Lee even a bit, you will be surprised that his main message was far beyond the martial arts. To me, he was primarily a very peaceful loving individual who was against any form of suppression. Many martial artists from all sorts of styles around the world who have devoted their entire life to specific  styles and always searched for ultimate truths sometimes meet  other people from other styles, who had also sought these truths (while always trying to stay true to themselves and others). They surprisingly find out that they absolutely came to the same conclusions. This is NO coincidence. Being a true fighter or a traditional martial artist is far more than actual fighting or learning a bunch of techniques. It is the approach that matters: a big aspect CAN be to collectively search for these ultimate truths in union with other people. You may learn a lot from each other that way. It is a search for a greater understanding of yourself, the environment and ultimately the universe as a whole. This whole concept is also true for the art of music. Experiencing something TOGETHER with people NOT APART from them! Music is a way to UNITE people all around the world - it REALLY does not matter if people speak different languages because the hearts of people will recognise each other perfectly. This is SPECIAL and means a lot to many people I guess.

The higher cause matters, not a single person or anything else. Making a living out of being a musician/artist can work, but there are only few, who actually manage to stay true and stick to their path while doing so. It is possible, but making money with music should never be the main approach to music or art in general, rather it can be a by-product that occurs. REAL artists - as a matter of fact any human being - naturally seek/s for love and harmony. This excludes everything the controlled media and corporations want you to need and believe in. DEEP inside we KNOW this. Do not let them fool you for this would be the beginning of the end. It is very sad, that so many people rather stay in their own comfort zones and let others do the thinking and planning for them. They really do not know WHAT they are missing and WHERE this will lead them. Having your own taste is really luxurious these days.

The corporate interest does not want you to listen with your heart, because then you would realise that you do not need their garbage products. When you listen with your heart and when you have an open mind you will feel and KNOW that there are more things to this world/dimension than most people are aware of. The real power of music cannot be logically described or taught at any university or by any academic professional (certainly not by critics and people that do work within the controlled media). The only hopes are those people who stand up and stick to their principles although this can ultimately endanger their health from time to time. These people have always existed and continue to do so. You need to carefully watch out to find these people since they are the only TRUE ones around. Who they are, can only your heart tell you. You might have to look for people with clear principles and a certain continuity and union of what they are doing and saying. As the often misunderstood Ayn Rand called them once, these are the "Fountainheads".

But to be not too negative here, the actual message behind all this is really positive. Music is MAGIC. This kind of magic is only "generated" by few bands when they are on stage. They really share their experience with the audience. There is no star cult at all, both parties (audience and artist/s) are really united at this point. Besides, that magic has nothing to do with so-called mind enhancing substances. In fact, this stuff will not help you at all, but rather steal the possibility from you to feel the magic on your own. Your clear mind is capable of things far greater than one might think...

Although many will deny that this spiritual level exist others will know what is meant here, because they have experienced it themselves. It is an absolute natural phenomenon. You have to be able as a person to gain this kind of access to music. It cannot be explained with (conventional) science.

This understanding of music (and life in general) is much different to this entire star and starlets stuff. Who wants to be a star anyway? It is not a matter of creating the ultimate ego, but rather creating a REAL union and peaceful relationship with others. UNITE not SEPERATE.

To state this again... it has never to do with anything that wants to desperately manipulate you and was forced upon us in the first place. There is an ultimate truth that connects all people. Music is ONE of the excellent ways to experience just that. In every one of us reside an evil and a good side (Yin & Yang). It is your personal choice, which one you might choose. In the end, the good side will hopefully be the stronger one out of the two. We do so many unnecessary things that provide us from recognising who we really are and more important what WE ARE NOT. Love and dedication is the key to everything... at least to everything GREAT and FANTASTIC.

You can gain this access if you let your mind free and question for yourself the world in which you are living.

Some people have more luck than others. But think of this: even if you find no person that shares your views and beliefs, I am pretty sure that you will definitely find at least ONE dedicated person in ANY art form out there, that you will recognise as some kind of a soul mate. This is NO coincidence. THEY are special people just like YOU. By "special" I mean that they are as true as it gets. Sometimes "fiction" is more real than reality itself... your heart and inner eye will see this.

Do not let others call you a dreamer, when you know inside yourself, that you are real and they are wrong in what they are doing. Only your own heart knows what is right and what is wrong for you. Hopefully, you will think about these lines a bit. This text is not meant to replace one dogma with another one (certainly not with one by the author himself!). Just think for yourself what sense it makes for you to question EVERYTHING around you as well as yourself. Without this you will not be able to understand and enjoy that kind of art mentioned in the above lines. Hopefully, you will find out that it is/was really worth the effort. If all of this is already known to you and you live by these principles, you may have just proven the authors theories right.

I once wrote about my former websites and the story behind them in my first book, published back in 2006. At that point, I felt this could be an opportunity to show people that this is not just another ego-portrait of another self-proclaimed star. In fact, I never wanted to have a website just showing me, but that is another story and just the way it turned out to be.
